Hypoestes 9.5cm Pot Plant

Hypoestes, commonly known as the Polka Dot Plant, is a compact foliage plant recognised for its colourful, speckled leaves marked with contrasting shades of pink, red, white, or purple. These distinctive patterns are created by areas of variegation across the leaf surface, giving each plant its unique appearance. Native to Madagascar and tropical regions of Africa, Hypoestes naturally grows as a small, branching herbaceous plant with soft foliage and a spreading habit.

Note: this an assorted mix of Hypoestes, images indicate what may be in the mixed box.

Habitat: Requires warmer household temperatures and humid conditions. Cut or pinch back often to promote bushier growth.
Light: Prefers bright indirect light.
Water: Keep soil evenly moist, only watering when top inch of soil has dried out.
Soil: Use a peat-based soil. Allow to drain.
Fertiliser: Will benefit from the application of a balanced plant fertiliser during peak growth periods.

Sold in quantities of 13 x 9.5cm plants per box. Please note, only two separate varieties may be mixed in one box for shipping.
