The variegated form of Ceropegia woodii is distinguished by its delicate trailing stems and small, heart-shaped leaves edged in creamy white to soft pink, surrounding green centres with intricate silver marbling. The undersides of the foliage are often flushed with purple, adding another layer of colour as the stems cascade. As the plant matures, it can produce slender vines exceeding 90 cm in length, along with small bead-like tubers at the nodes and the species' distinctive tubular flowers in muted pink to mauve tones.
Habitat: Prefers warmer temperatures and can grow in dry conditions. Trim leaves regularly to increase volume, or let strands grow long for a trailing effect.
Light: Prefers indirect light.
Water: Watering once a month is plenty.
Soil: Succulent soil mix (1 part potting mix, 1 part sand/perlite)
Fertiliser: Will benefit from the application of a balanced plant fertiliser during peak growth periods.
Please note: Variegated plants vary between and within crops. While we attempt to maintain growing conditions, no guarantees can be made around the volume of variegation per plant. The picture of this plant is indicative only, as we see with all plant species, every plant is unique.
Sold in quantities of 13x 12cm plants per box. Please note, only two separate varieties may be mixed in one box for shipping.
