Zamioculcas zamiifolia, commonly known as the Zanzibar Gem, is distinguished by its upright, architectural form and glossy, deep green leaflets arranged along thick, fleshy stems. Beneath the soil, it develops large rhizomes that store water and nutrients, contributing to its naturally resilient growth habit. New shoots emerge as tightly folded spears before gradually unfurling into symmetrical fronds, while the polished foliage and sculptural structure have made it one of the most recognisable and enduring foliage plants in cultivation.
Please note that this item is grown in a slightly taller pot than the rest of our 14cm range and therefore doesn't fit well within our 15cm pot range.
