Spathiphyllum 'Dwarf Sensation' is a compact cultivar that retains the bold, architectural foliage of its larger counterpart in a more manageable form. Its broad, emerald green leaves are deeply pleated with prominent veins that create a sculptural, textured appearance and catch the light beautifully. Forming a dense clump that can reach around 1 metre in height and spread, this variety develops from a central crown, with new leaves unfurling from the centre. Mature plants may also produce the characteristic white spathes and central spadices typical of the aroid family.

  • Habitat: Prefers average house hold temperatures between 15 and 27 degrees with roughly 60% humidity.
  • Light: Medium, indirect light, can tolerate lower light levels.
  • Water: Ideal to keep evenly moist at all times. Leaves will droop if underwatered.
  • Soil: Use a combination of medium to high water retention soil and an airy, free draining mix.
  • Fertiliser: Will benefit from the application of a balanced plant fertiliser during peak growth periods.
