Asplenium Antiquum 14cm Pot Plant

Asplenium antiquum is an elegant fern distinguished by its broad, glossy fronds with gently undulating margins and tapered tips. The fronds emerge from a central rosette, unfurling one by one to create the characteristic nest-like form of the genus. Compared with the closely related Asplenium nidus, A. antiquum typically produces fronds of a more uniform width with more pronounced rippling along the edges, giving the plant a refined, architectural appearance as it matures.

Habitat: Will grow 60-90cm indoors. Prefers warmer, humid environment.
Light: Medium indirect light. Direct sunlight will burn the leaves.
Water: Keep the soil moist, but do not over-water. Like most plants, over-watering will cause root rot.
Soil: Will be happy in a bark/peat-based soil mixed with an orchid mix through it to help create a free-draining medium.
Fertiliser: Ferns do not require too much additional fertiliser, other than diluted amounts during growth periods. Too much fertiliser can damage your plant.
