Aglaonema 'Siam Aurora', also known as 'Red Gold', is recognised for its striking foliage, with broad leaves featuring mottled green centres framed by vivid red-pink margins. The contrast between the deep green and warm tones creates a unique variegated pattern that develops differently across each leaf. This variety has been double planted, creating a fuller, more established clump with multiple stems emerging from the base.
Habitat: Prefers a warm, humid environment. Keep out of draughts or sudden temperature changes.
Light: Medium to high bright, indirect light. Keep away from direct sunlight.
Water: Water when top inch or two of soil is dry. Be careful not to overwater, Agalonema prefers slightly moist soil but can suffer root rot if left in standing water.
Soil: Use a peat-based soil. Allow to drain. Soft stalks are a sign of overwatering.
Fertiliser: Feed during Spring and Summer with liquid plant food.
Please note: Variegated plants vary between and within crops. While we attempt to maintain growing conditions, no guarantees can be made around the volume of variegation per plant. The picture of this plant is indicative only, as we see with all plant species, every plant is unique.
