Peperomia Raindrop 12cm Pot Plant

Peperomia polybotrya, commonly known as the Raindrop Peperomia, is recognised for its large, glossy leaves, each shaped like a perfectly formed raindrop with a gently pointed tip. The thick, fleshy foliage reflects the semi-succulent nature of the species, allowing the leaves to store moisture while maintaining their smooth, polished appearance. Growing in a naturally upright habit, it gradually forms a compact clump reaching around 30 cm in height, with new leaves emerging on slender stems before expanding into their distinctive rounded form.

Habitat: For a bushier plant pinch tips through the spring and summer months to encourage additional shoots to form. Prefers to be kept in warmer temperatures, and away from draughts.

Light: Medium to bright, indirect light.
Water: Water from dry only. Leaf loss is a sign of over-watering.
Soil: Use a peat-based soil. Allow soil to dry out between waterings. Allow to drain.
Fertiliser: Will benefit from the application of a balanced plant fertiliser during peak growth periods.
