Nephrolepis Fluffy Ruffles 12cm Pot Plant

Nephrolepis 'Fluffy Ruffles' is a finely textured fern distinguished by its densely divided fronds with softly ruffled pinnae, giving the foliage a full, feathery appearance. The intricately layered fronds arch gracefully from a central crown, creating a naturally rounded form. As new growth emerges, each frond unfurls from a tightly coiled fiddlehead before expanding into its characteristic delicate structure, adding continual movement and texture throughout the growing season.

Habitat: Will grow 30-60cm indoors. Avoid draughts. Does well in a humid environment.
Light: Likes bright, indirect light. Direct sunlight will make the leaves fade to lime green.
Water: Keep the soil moist, but do not over-water. Like most plants, over-watering will cause root rot. Avoid watering the central stem (rhizome) of the plant.
Soil: Will be happy in a bark/peat-based soil mixed with an orchid mix through it to help create a free-draining medium.
Fertiliser: Ferns do not require too much additional fertiliser, other than diluted amounts during growth periods.
