Epipremnum aureum, commonly known as Golden Pothos or Devil's Ivy, is one of the most recognisable climbing aroids, admired for its heart-shaped leaves marbled with vibrant shades of green, gold, and cream. The variegation varies from leaf to leaf, becoming more pronounced as the plant matures. Slender vines produce aerial roots at each node, allowing them to climb supports or trail gracefully, with mature stems capable of reaching impressive lengths. New leaves unfurl from protective sheaths before expanding into the glossy foliage that has made this species a long-standing favourite in indoor collections.
Habitat: If you desire a bushier plant, pinch out the tips of the stems to encourage new shoots.
Light: Prefers medium to bright, indirect light.
Water: Let soil dry completely before next watering.
Soil: A well draining potting mix is recommended.
Fertiliser: Will benefit from the application of a balanced plant fertiliser during peak growth periods.
Please note: Variegated plants vary between and within crops. While we attempt to maintain growing conditions, no guarantees can be made around the volume of variegation per plant. The picture of this plant is indicative only, as we see with all plant species, every plant is unique.
