Calathea 'Medallion' is recognised for its broad, rounded leaves adorned with intricate patterns in deep green, soft lime, and silvery tones that radiate from the central vein. The richly coloured foliage is complemented by vibrant purple undersides, creating a striking contrast as the leaves gently move throughout the day. 
 

  • Habitat: Prefers to be kept in warmer temperatures. Avoid sudden temperature drops, and keep away from draughts.
  • Light: Bright, indirect light. Shield from direct sun.
  • Water: Water little and often with filtered, room-temperature water. 
  • Soil: Use a well-draining potting mix to avoid root rot.
  • Fertiliser: Will benefit from the application of a balanced plant fertiliser during peak growth periods.
