Peperomia Watermelon 14cm Pot Plant

Peperomia argyreia, commonly known as Watermelon Peperomia, is recognised for its rounded, glossy leaves marked with alternating silver and green stripes that resemble the patterning of a watermelon rind. The foliage grows from a compact central rosette, with each leaf held on a slender reddish petiole that contrasts against the striped surface. Its thick, fleshy leaves reflect the semi-succulent nature of the Peperomia genus, allowing the plant to store moisture within its tissues while maintaining its compact, evergreen form.

Habitat: For a bushier plant pinch tips through spring and summer months to encourage additional shoots to form.
Light: Bright, indirect light.
Water: Water from dry only. Leaf loss is a sign of over-watering.
Soil: Use well-drained mixed soil. Allow soil to dry out between waterings.
Fertiliser: Will benefit from the application of a balanced plant fertiliser during peak growth periods.
