Van Lier Nurseries is an authorised propagator of Lex, Schreurs, Moffatt and Rosen Tantau Roses. Available varieties can be found below.

A rooted cutting is in fertil pot and costs $2.30 + gst for all rose varieties.

In addition a royalty is charged, the cost for each rose plant is as follows:

Lex Roses $2.00 + gst each (dependent on exchange rate of .50€)

Moffatt and Rosen Tantau Roses  $1.85 + gst each

Schreurs Roses $2.00 + gst each (dependent on exchange rate of .50€)

Orders of 4000 or more, will be discounted at a rate of 5% (no royalty discount) while orders in excess of 10,000 plants will be further negotiable. Our deposit rate at time of placing the order is 20%. Orders will only be processed on receipt of deposit.

A minimum of two hundred plants per variety is required.

There will be restricted quantities of plant material on new varieties.

We require eight to twelve weeks time from receiving the deposit and signing the contract to producing plants.

Most of our rose varieties are protected under the New Zealand Plant Variety Rights Act (PVR) and sold subject to contract and the payment of royalties. Self-propagation is not permitted, the development of new varieties is very costly and a long-term business and breeders are entitled to their just rewards.
